Timetable: November 1, 2014: registrations open; December 31, 2014: deadline for applications; January 15, 2015: announcement of the 8 selected teams; March 13-19, 2015: in situ workshop, public presentation and jury; April, 2015: exhibition of the projects

The site: What types of passages are needed for the eastern part of the Expo 2010 site? How to prevent the site becoming an urban enclave? How to improve accessibility and porosity, provide alternative routes within the site and connecting with the surrounding neighborhoods (Expo Axis and services to the west, Huangpu River and Bailuanjing Path to the east, housing to the south and the riverbanks to the north)? How to create a genuine, lively, urban neighborhood, facilitate mobility for residents, workers, local people or tourists, from the Metropolitan scale to walking and cycling?

The challenges: to identify strategic points in a developing area under construction and propose passages of different kinds for construction.
