Passages in Paris

Passages, transitional spaces for the 21st century city”, from May 4 to June 5 at the Passage du Désir gallery in Paris

The exhibition “Passages, spaces of transition for the 21st century city” make it first stop in Paris before an international roaming by travelling through the world’s cities, their barriers and passages, and encouraging the pleasure of the passer-by’s experience and proposing solutions. It is free of charge and aims to bring together a wide audience, including architecture and urban planning professionals, politicians, associations and enlightened citizens.

The exhibition will make it possible to make people aware of the extent and diversity of barriers and to raise awareness among city actors of the role of everyday spaces in new urban mobility, in their physical, sensitive, social and symbolic dimensions, to identify and show the innovations that make it possible today to overcome the various urban ruptures, to demonstrate that it is possible to initiate transformations on a larger scale through small interventions.
