Y tu mama también

Movie by Alfonso Cuaron (Mexico), 2001

At the beginning of the movie, the car of the two heroes is stuck in a traffic jam. After a wide shot on the road, overcome by a skytrain, the voiceover explains:

“the traffic jam was caused by a pedestrian, Marcelino Escutia, a mason coming from Michoacan. Marcelino was hit by a bus that was going too fast. He never borrowed the bridge for pedestrians because it forced him to walk five kilometers more between his poor neighborhood and his workplace. Her body, unidentified, was recovered by the Red Cross and taken to the morgue. He waited four days before being called. ”
