Last 4 et 5 September, presentation of the projects of 200 étudiants &45 professors in architecture from the University of the Republic of Montevideo, conferences & exhibition
In partnership with the municipality of Montevideo, this seminar, this year on the theme of Passages, consisted in 9 workshops on three sites in the city: Casavalle, Valera and Malvin Norte.
The results were presented to a international committee of experts from IVM South America and were exhibited in the University. They will be published in a special edition of the publication R, from the University.
During this seminar also took place conferences by Juan Pedro Urruzola, director of the urban department of the Municipality, Marcel Smets, Scientific Director of the Project and Pascal Amphoux, architect, geographer and member of the steering committee “Passages”.
Ana Olivera, Mayor of Montevideo, concluded the seminair while congratulating the students for teasing the Municipalies’ big projects with their strategic proposals of interventions.
