Shanghai: On the Expo 2010 site with Eastern China Architecture Design Institute, Expo Shanghai Group and Tongji University
■ The jury unanimously nominated one winning team and two runners-up of French, Canadian, Spanish, Australian and Chinese nationality, from the eight which took part in the Shanghai workshop last March.
■ Details of the proposals will soon be online. Next step: exhibition, publication, production.

Barcelona Metropolitan Area: prize awards on April 21
■ The international jury and the organisers will award their prizes to the four winning teams and twelve runners-up on the six sites proposed in Badalona, Montcada i Reixac, Cerdanyola del Vallès and Ripollet, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Molins de Rei, Sant Vicenç dels Horts and Hospitalet de Llobregat.

Tours & Saint-Pierre Des Corps: “What if the A10 motorway opened up (an) urban passage(s)?”
■ Seven teams from France, Portugal, Great Britain and Japan were selected from fifty entries representing thirteen nationalities. They will develop their proposals in a workshop on the site in 2015.
■ Competition organised by VINCI Autoroutes and Communauté d’agglomération Tours(+), managed by the Tours Urban Planning Agency, in partnership with IVM.

Toronto: entries close on April 30
■ Designing the local access between two stations on the new East Sheppard LRT rapid transit line : a small suburban intervention with multiple impacts.
■ An international competition open to young professionals and emerging design practices, run by Metrolinx, the University of Toronto’s John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, with Toronto Municipality, the French Institute and IVM.

Barcelona (Sant Adrià de Besòs): results on April 30
■ Transforming a passage under the coastal railway into a welcoming public space that facilitates access to the beach for local people.
■ International competition organized by Consorcí del Besòs in collaboration with the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya and IVM.
