The bridge of 160 meters long will be the gateway to the park Ariel Sharon and will connect the Lod road (Route 461 that runs from the east of Tel Aviv to the town of Bnei Atarot) directly to the Hiriya Mountain in the middle of the park. Its construction is based entirely on the principle of reusing old containers and will be used by pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles that operate as special transportation service for the visiting public.
Along the bridge, there are several viewpoints in all directions, balconies and seating areas. It is not just a place to stay but a destination in itself: several display panels are incorporated to show presentations on environmental issues.
