On the occasion of Heritage Days next 18 and 19 September, the Cinémathèque of Grenoble and IVM proposed a journey in the ancient city center that reveals singular urban passages and revisits the notion of passage through yesterday’s and today’s films. Famous passages, discrete or original ones, passing from one film to the other, through public spaces and buildings to discover and explore the city in a different way: passages from architecture to cinema.
From Wednesday 16 November: exhibition of contemporary passages made by IVM and presented at the maison de l’architecture de l’Isère.
Friday, September 18 at 18h00: Conference and projection at the Cinémathèque de Grenoble, with contributions from Pascal Amphoux, architect, Nicolas Tixier, President of the Cinémathèque and Mireille Apel-Muller, IVM Chief executive.
Saturday, September 19: Tour and projections from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m in 8 emblematic passages of the city.
A project of the Cinémathèque de Grenoble and IVM, in collaboration with the the Maison de l’Architecture de l’Isère and INA.
