International seminar “The space of mobility as a project – A Franco-Latin American perspective” June 7th 2018 at Rio de Janeiro
The City on the Move-VEDECOM Institute and the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Post-Graduate Program in Urbanism) organize an international seminar in collaboration with the French Embassy in Brazil (Regional Delegation of Cooperation for South America), the Furban Foundation, and the Transdev, PSA and Michelin groups.
This meeting will open with the evaluation of the competitions, exhibitions and activities related to the Passages Program, which since 2014, underlined the importance of these small spaces of mobility in urban planning and in the design of integrated mobility systems. Discussions will follow on the role of university campuses and their relationship with cities.
The event will bring together the leadership of the City on the Move Institute and representatives of its entire Latin American Chair, as well as specialists from Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.
